For the love of Autumn

Browns, burnt oranges, pumpkins and acorns, all make you think of Autumn. It’s a season that makes you feel like you ending a chapter and starting a new one, all in one season. It’s when the winter blankets, hot chocolate, and pullovers start coming out which signifies the winter will be here soon.

I must admit, I wait for winter like a child waits for Christmas. I love the cold weather. Autumn can also be every gardeners nightmare because the leaves slowly but surely start falling off the tree’s and when you think you’ve just won the battle, your garden gets peppered with leaves again. I’m sure they do it to be spiteful (ha ha).

Sometimes though, I sit outside and a strong wind blows through the tree next to our house, in our backyard and the small leaves fall down like snow. It looks so awesome and I have been trying to get a photo or video of it, but alas, I have not yet been successful. It is some of these leaves that I included in necklace #1 in my Autumn range of jewellery.
