Symbolizing love and success

It was named in the 14th century and it’s a form of beryl. It takes it’s colour from the presence of chrome in the stone. Emerald is said to be the most valuable of all the precious stones.
Known as early as 2000 BC and was quite popular with ancient Egyptians. The Emerald was also named as the fourth foundation stone in the wall of the new Jerusalem in Revelations and was in the breastplate of the High Priest. The rainbow around the throne in Revelations is also compared to an Emerald.
An Emerald is a beautiful green colour which evokes feelings of tranquility, peace and nature. It is also known to stand for good luck and health.
