Well, it’s hard to believe, but Christmas will be here soon again and the mad rush to buy our loved ones gifts will start again.

I have seen a rise in people that do online shopping, instead of standing in long queue’s at stores and this has given me renewed sense of hope, due to my ‘shop’ being an online one.

There are so many different types of shoppers though. Some people buy presents through the year so that they don’t have one large expense close to Christmas (this is probably the best option for your financial state) and then you have the people that buy presents a few months before the time and then you have the last minute people. They like too use their bonuses to buy gifts, otherwise they would usually not be able to buy a whole lot of gifts.

The nice thing is that towards Christmas, companies and stores like to hold specials for those people and if you buy through the year, you may miss out on these specials. I suppose each type of buying has it’s pros and cons.

You also get people that don’t buy gifts for the adults and only for the children and maybe their spouse as well. This is due to the high cost of living and the low salaries received. And then there’s also the people that don’t celebrate Christmas because of their religion, so they don’t buy gifts at all.
