Gemstones that I love – Part 1

Agate

The first on my list for today is the Agate stone. You get this stone in a slice or in tumbled stones and they can be dyed as well. I love this stone because of its diversity of colour and how beautiful it is. The Agate slice makes me think of a fantasy world and that the stone is part of a magical amulet. I love it! If you would like to read more about the stone itself, you can check my blog post named Agate – May Birthstone #2.

Amethyst

The next stone on my list is the Amethyst. This stone is so beautiful to me because of it’s colour. The vibrancy of the colours is awesome but you can also get the stones that are a lot lighter shade of purple. The Amethyst crystals are also quite magical looking (You can see who reads a lot of fantasy, ha ha). If you would like to read more about the stone itself, you can check my blog post named Amethyst – February Birthstone.

Aquamarine

Aquamarine is one of those stones that draws me. Probably because I love the colour and because it looks fragile but tough (much like a woman). I especially love the Aquamarine crystals and I love working with them. I’m always proud of the outcome. If you would like to read more about the stone itself, you can check my blog post named Aquamarine – March Birthstone #1.

Crystal

The last stone on my list for today is Crystal. Now most people that know me know that I love crystals. They fascinate me, and just like most other stones, it amazes me that these stones grow somewhere in a cave or are inside a stone that seems unassuming on the outside, but is stunning on the inside. I wear a crystal necklace and a crystal ring and I would wear it everywhere on my body if I could because they are so beautiful! If you would like to read more about the crystal ring I made, you can check my blog post named Crystal Boho.
