Moonstone
Today I’m starting with Moonstone. This stone has a pearly or opaline lustre to it and is mainly white in colour, depending on how you’re holding the stone. One of the things that I love about this stone is the fact that it’s a little translucent but is still able to change its colour a little. I have this stone in two different rings, as well as two necklaces that I wear. This stone also makes me think of a fantasy world. If you would like to read more about the stone itself, you can check my blog post named Moonstone – June Birthstone #2.

Opal
Opal is another one of my favourites because of its opaline lustre and the many different colours you can get it in. It is also quite the fantasy stone and I love it very much. I don’t have anything with opal in it, but it is on my wish list and I hope one day I will be able to get myself a few different colours of opal. If you would like to read more about the stone itself, you can check my blog post named Opal – October Birthstone #1.

Onyx
This is a predominantly black stone and I love how dark it is. I know that sounds quite scary, but I do have a dark side sometimes (I didn’t say evil, just dark) and this stone speaks to that part of me. If you would like to read more about the stone itself, you can check my blog post named Onyx – July Birthstone #2.

Turquoise
This stone is one of my favourites because it’s one of my birthstones. It’s also one of my favourite colours. I have many jewellery items made with this stone. If you would like to read more about the stone itself, you can check my blog post named Lapis Lazuli & Turquoise – December Birthstone’s.
