I have been quite busy lately, in all aspects of my life (what’s new?), but for a change, I have been having a lot more fun. I decided not to work myself to death and to actually not work on weekends either. This has helped me to pay more attention to other things that I enjoy doing, but that I’m not making money with, such as sewing.
I also sat for four days busy redoing my jewellery boxes and recycling my necklaces that I don’t wear into items that I will wear. Those blogs will be coming one of these days. You have already seen some of the jewellery from that in my lookbook blog that I did recently. I enjoyed myself thoroughly and had Shadowhunters playing on my laptop next to me while I worked, even though Matthew Daddario and Harry Sum Jr are quite distracting!
I have been a lot more relaxed and have started enjoying my days a lot more. This is a mind set that I had to work on and I have also been taking a deeper look at myself and where I am in life at the moment. I have written down my dreams for my life so that I don’t lose sight of them in the everyday hub bub and to have something to aim for.
I had to decide to let go of certain things in my life that wasn’t bearing fruit or that I felt is not the path that I should be taking anymore. I have also done a lot more photography and that is something that makes my heart very happy because it helps me to see the beauty in even the smallest things around me, which makes my peace level even higher.
I then decided to also ‘bite the bullet’ and do a very personal video for my YouTube channel about dealing with loss. I will be doing a short blog post on that and sharing the link later this week.
Anyway…that’s it from me for now. I hope that you have been having a great time and if not, I hope it gets better. Remember to learn the lessons you need to learn from your hardships and then release the pain so that you can focus on your future.
I would love to hear from you in the comments and any stories that you may have about things that you may have overcome lately. You never know who you may be helping.
Keep your crystal on, and your sparkle strong!
