This is the first year that I am attempting NaNoWriMo and I am super excited! I thought that during October or Prep_tober, I would not only get my story-boarding right, but I would test my NaNo profile and use it to complete the first edit on my current book.

This has been working brilliantly and I have been enjoying staying up to date. I am one of those weird people that likes to reach my daily targets (ha ha..I know I’m not alone on this). It seems that because I have to complete my online profile daily with my figures, it forces me to do my editing and not make any excuses.

If you don’t know what NaNoWriMo is, then you can go here and see what it’s all about. You need to try and write 50 000 words in 30 days.

The project that I’ll be writing is the second book in the Serendipity series. I’m not sure if it will only be 50 000 words, but at least it will be most of my manuscript.

I am very excited about this. Let me know if you’re also doing NaNoWriMo.
