Music written by me and then performed for YouTube
When you write a piece of music that comes from your heart and you then put it out there for the world to hear, it can be nerve-racking! Will people like it? Will you sound good? Are you good enough at all? You could probably drive yourself cray cray with all the self-doubt and questions.
I decided about two years ago that I was going to try and be brave and perform my music and then upload it to my YouTube video. It has been a scary process and I would have to record some songs many times because I kept making mistakes.

I don’t get to practice often due to all the other things that fight for my attention but I would really like to change that in 2022 because music runs in my veins. It’s part of who I am and I LOVE singing and playing guitar. I just need to lighten up and enjoy the process and not be so terrified.
I have shared two of my latest videos with original pieces. One is a Christian song and the other is not. Please could you let me know what you think and if you have any pointers for me. I am still learning to sing ‘above the pencil’, it is not as easy as people make it out to be unless I’m doing it horribly wrong.
