About the book

My thoughts
This book completely blew me away. I loved how it was written and the storyline was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone. It showed how some people make up their own rules in Christianity and make it legalistic which takes away from what it actually is…a relationship with Christ. And because of people’s own made-up rules, it inevitably hurts someone.
This book also speaks about people that often believe things are their fault when they are not. They own the guilt that is not theirs to own. People that are hurt by their parents that withhold love due to grief. People that feel so lost in an uncaring world made up of hate and rules. I have watched the movie as well, but as always the movie did not do the book justice. In the book, you get all the internal monologue which helps you to understand the character more.
I gave this book a 5/5 star rating.
