Fire in Frost by Alicia Rades

(From Top 10 all time favourite books and why)
About the book
“There’s a fire growing inside of me. It’s not the harmful kind that can kill a girl like Olivia. It’s the kind that can save her.”
CRYSTAL FROST tells herself she isn’t crazy, but sane people don’t see ghosts. As her psychic abilities manifest, Crystal discovers she can see into the future, witness the past, and speak with the dead. Add blackmail to the list of things she never thought would happen to her, and you basically have her sophomore year covered. After spotting her first ghost, secrets from her family, friends, and classmates begin to surface. Uncovering secrets can be dangerous, but giving up means someone will get hurt.
Again.
My thoughts
This series is for teenagers but I still thoroughly enjoyed the storyline. The dialogue was easy to read and who doesn’t like a little paranormal fantasy? I enjoyed the different characters. The protagonist irritated me sometimes like teenagers sometimes do so that means she was well written. I didn’t write much in my previous review and I only remember a little of the story. I do not remember the details. I do remember that I enjoyed it.
Desire in Frost by Alicia Rades

About the book
How do you save a child you’ve only seen in your nightmares?
CRYSTAL FROST recently discovered she can see ghosts and predict the future, yet the mystery of Hope Ross’s abduction still haunts her dreams. While traveling to Florida for Thanksgiving, Crystal’s visions of Hope only grow stronger. She enlists the help of her soon-to-be step-cousin Robin, a decision that complicates the entire picture—and her feelings. Can she figure out what happened to Hope and learn why Robin is so guarded, or will her newfound abilities fail her?
My thoughts
Another installment of this series and just like the previous book, I was kept on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed the storyline and like the first book, the dialogue was easy to read.
Inspired by Frost by Alicia Rades

About the book
“She’ll take her last breath the next time you wear that dress.”
CRYSTAL FROST has grown accustomed to the supernatural, but months of passive paranormal activity have left her believing her mother’s wedding will be a breeze. That changes when a ghost named Melissa shows up in Crystal’s dressing room while she’s picking out her maid of honor dress. Crystal takes on this new psychic mission without question, immediately determined to save Sage, the girl Melissa warned her about.
But how do you save a girl from a deadly fate when you don’t know how she’s going to die?
My thoughts
I was about as stressed out as the protagonist in this installment of the series. I felt like I was right there with her when she was frantically trying to save this girl. Then she had to deal with her mom’s wedding, school, and everything else. Well written!
Fading Frost by Alicia Rades

About the book
Where do you turn when you lose a piece of yourself?
CRYSTAL FROST has known for a year that she’s psychic, but a car accident leaves her sixth sense weaker than ever. When she begins sensing a ghost she can’t actually see, Crystal isn’t sure if she has what it takes to help. Meanwhile, her friend Derek is going through something personal, only Crystal doesn’t know what’s wrong.
Will she be able to help this ghost cross over, help Derek find peace, and save her own life in the process?
My thoughts
Talk about an ending to a series! Everything came crashing together in the last book of this series and it didn’t disappoint. Also, something I have to comment on…the covers are just stunning! The covers sold me on the books before I even got the series on my Kindle.
I would recommend this series to anyone that likes Paranormal Fantasy, Romance, Young Adult, and Supernatural books.
I gave all three books in this series a 4/5 star rating.
