The Fruits of the Spirit Bracelet

The story behind the inception of the Fruits of the spirit bracelet is quite simple. I had a bracelet that contained the fruits of the spirit, as well as the Armour of God and I also added some crystal. This made the bracelet too busy and a little on the heavy side.

I then decided to do the bracelet with only the fruits of the spirit on it so that I could combat the problems I had with the previous bracelet. I think that the design now shows off all the elements very well, instead of being too busy. It has an understated beauty about it.

Why the fruits of the spirit? Well, I am a Christian and I believe that I am called to have the fruits of the spirit (because it says it in the Bible) so that I can best show people what God’s love is. It also helps me face life head on.

Galatians 5:22 – 23:

²² But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.
