Remaking Old Jewellery

Changing Them From Things I No Longer Wear To Beautiful Pieces of Jewellery

This blog goes hand in hand with the blog that I did about The Before & After of my jewellery boxes. I stood in front of my necklaces and realised that I hardly wear most of them because I have the set of crystals that I wear. I then realised that if I wanted to change that status, then I needed to make the necklaces longer so that they could be worn as the last string on my necklace layer. I also got rid of some of them by taking them apart.

The below photos are of my necklaces before I started remaking them.

The next photo was while I was busy taking the necklaces off a few at a time to remake them.

The next photos are of my completed necklaces. You can see some of them up close in my blog called My Jewellery Lookbook.

This was a lot of fun and it felt quite cleansing. I would recommend it to anyone.

I would also love to hear from you, so please leave a comment below.
