Right now, I feel like perseverance is a swear word because that’s all I’ve been doing for almost three years and it feels like I’m farting against thunder (as they say). Even though I feel this way though, I know I will continue to keep going on because that is how I’m made.

I have many questions sometimes as to whether I’m on the right path or if I’ve veered completely off the beaten track and am drugging through the thick of the forest, often stepping into a pool of quicksand. Do you sometimes feel the same way? I can’t be the only one…

In 2018, I thought I had finally found the printers that I would stay with forevermore (I’m loyal like that) but alas, it was not to be. I now have to try and find other printers. Some have pointed me toward China. Let’s see how that one goes. Admittedly, I have heard that their prices are a lot cheaper but I have a feeling you have to order a large batch in order to get those cheaper prices. Large batches don’t always get sold.

Due to Covid-19 hitting this year, it has meant that I am unable to do a 2021 Planner or desk calendar because it’s already past the selling date, never mind the proof printing date. I have the completed planner and calendar but no printer for them.

I have also been trying to edit my books in between all the other issues and this hasn’t been easy because, as any other writer will tell you, you sometimes develop ‘imposter syndrome’ and have to try to fight that off in order to do a proper editing job. Otherwise, you basically read the same page 600 times and get nowhere.

Add all of life’s ups and downs with finances, relationships, and missing people and you land up with a knotted ball yarn of a year. It makes me want to scream at everybody and nobody at the same time. I just want to scream!

However, through this all, I will persevere because I am a determined person that hates giving up. I push and push until I have nothing left to push with. This trait usually makes me successful… Sometimes I want to smack it out of myself!
