Revamping the side of my kitchen cupboard to make a black board to write my groceries needed on.

My kitchen cupboard looked quite boring and I had been wanting to put a black board into my kitchen for a while so that we could write our groceries on it, but I don’t really have open space on my kitchen walls that I could utilize for this purpose.
I was staring at the boring cupboard and thinking about what I could do with it to make it more interesting…and that’s when it hit me! Not the cupboard (thankfully) but an idea.
I have added some of the photo’s of my escapade below and if you would like to see how I went about it, then you can watch the video at the end.
What I used for the video:
- A drop sheet
- Chalk board paint
- Paint brushes
- A cloth to wipe brushes off on
- A holder with water to rinse brushes
- A sanding machine
- Masking tape
- Protective glasses
- You can use a mask if you struggle with that type of dust and can breath with a mask on.

If you would like to watch exactly how I did it, then you can watch the video below. I am very happy with my chalk board and I don’t have to worry about running out of little papers and then losing those little papers.
That’s all for today.
I would also love to hear from you, so please leave a comment below.
