I bought these three books when I started out making jewellery. I also used to buy craft magazines in order to get ideas, but I have to admit that I rarely followed a book closely because once I started with something, it usually ended up being different from the picture.
I mostly used the books to help show me what equipment I needed and how to end off necklaces. My jewellery has evolved so much from when I first started, it amazes me sometimes.
I don’t get books about jewellery anymore, or the craft magazines because I now use Pinterest when I need a little inspiration.
The name of the books that I bought were ‘Creative Jewellery’ by Carole Rodgers, ‘Waag met krale’ by Heather Laithwaite (not sure why I got the Afrikaans one) and ‘Jewellery’ by Miranda Innes.
That’s it from me today… I would also love to hear from you, so please leave a comment below.
