If you are an avid reader or an author, you will probably have heard about the hashtag Bookstagram on Instagram. I came across this hashtag about two years ago and fell in love. As a photographer, I love doing photos for Bookstagram, and sometimes I will find a beautiful photo that I try to recreate to a point and then add my own flare to it.
My daughter doesn’t always enjoy me doing these photos because she ends up being my helper. She ends up carrying stuff back and forth and holding backgrounds, etc. for me. I love it though. One thing I had to get used to was taking photos with me in the photo because I felt self-conscious. I have finally made peace with myself, even though I am still working on my weight. These photos help my creativity to take flight.
I have added a few of my Bookstagram photos below. If you would like to follow me on Instagram, you can click here as I don’t yet have the widget on my blog.

Do you also do photos for Bookstagram or do you follow people that do? How much do you enjoy seeing the creativity that they come up with?
That’s it from me for now…
